Swarm theory?
Well, I know you want an explanation of the name of this blog so I'm going to give it to you.
Swarm theory comes from how swarms of animals operate. It looks at how ants decide who does what, how bees choose a new home, how horse betting is an accurate predictor of a race's outcome, and how birds fly in coordinated flocks.
It shows how the collective can be smarter than any individual in that collective. And, this is my personal opinion, how Wikipedia is really a very good source of information.
